Tokina 3X Tele Lens for CANON POWERSHOT S3 IS - Good or Bad? - tokina lens
I want a TV for my Canon Powershot S2 IS. On Ebay I found a lens Tokina 3X for $ 60 plus the adapter tube. Tokina is a good magnifying glass maker? Any use of them before? I do not take professional photos, only photos of the soccer game for the DS and the school newspaper. The quality is lower with a Tokina lens?

Tokina is a good lens manufacturers. However, if you look at the message boards at dpreview.com is most people are not happy with this lens adapter, for it seems to produce a large amount of vignette (dark corners) on the images. It would probably be better with the 1.5x telephoto lens from Canon.
